Mischelle M. is part of the medical staff at Monarch Medical Weight Loss Center. Since starting the program in 2006, Mischelle has lost 75 pounds.

"In working at Monarch, I feel I have helped more people with their weight loss because I can relate to being overweight," Mischelle said."I need to practice what I preach."

Mischelle said that the nutrition education she received through Monarch is one of the most useful tools in maintaining her current weight.

"I know I will never be that overweight again!" she said.

In early 2006, Mischelle weighed almost 75 pounds more (right) than she does today. Now she is representative of Monarch's many success stories — and helps patients achieve their own success at the Eugene clinic.
